From the days of their waffle styled outsole shoes that included the Waffle Racer & later their Air Max series, Nike has pushed the boundaries in product styling, technology and marketing. Natural diversity occurred and a full sports lifestyle look was created, from head to toe, cemented with their "Just Do It" slogan.

Nike - the Goddess of Victory is the heart of the name and the mindset associated with this global sports brand.
Originally called 'Blue Ribbon Sports' by founders Phil Knight & Bill Bowerman in the '60's, this track athlete and his coach made their name as the distributor of an Asian trainer - later known as ASICS. By the early 70's the duo were ready to launch their own brand of trainers, displaying the now legendary Swoosh. Nike was born and by 1980 they held 50% of the market share in trainers.
Move forward to today and the product range has developed into many areas, deeply sports specific but also offering a lifestyle option too, Nike has taken its knowledge of software into the hardware market with snow goggles and sunglasses a major part of their model.
